Tele-rehab, at least the way that RespondWell does it, includes biometric devices to get ahead on what the patient is up to, for better for worse, even if the patient and the physical therapist are not directly interacting. This matters because bad things happen when a patient doesn’t do their follow up PT and many patients can’t afford the follow up care or are rural and don’t have easy or even moderately easy access to it.

Patient presents with some sort of health risk, an intervention is performed, variables controlled for, and impact assessed.
