There’s a downside to paper forms I hadn’t considered until I spoke with David Perez from Seamless Medical systems today – paper is uni-directional. There’s no chance for interaction, like to feed the patient useful information about wait times or relevant patient information. Nor is there any opportunity to customize the form to remove questions that are irrelevant – like if you’re a man getting asked if you’re pregnant or breast feeding.
